North Charleston police are searching for a man who robbed a CVS Pharmacy early Tuesday.
Employees told police a white man with what appeared to be black shoe polish covering his face and hands entered the store, at 5215 Ashley Phosphate Road, about 3:30 a.m. and demanded Oxycodone from its pharmacy, police spokesman Spencer Pryor said.
The pharmacist complied, and the man, armed with a pocket knife, fled the scene.
The suspect was described as 25 to 35 years old, 6 feet, 1 inch tall and 180 to 200 pounds.
He wore a long-sleeved blue shirt, tan or brown pants and a tan or brown hat.
Anyone with information is asked to call police at 554-5700 or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
