Police searching for man in March shooting death

MOUNT PLEASANT -- Terrell Rhodes Montgomery is wanted for accessory to murder in last month's fatal shooting at a Ben Sawyer Boulevard condo, police said Friday.

The 32-year-old is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 160 pounds, police said.

James Gerald Pinckney, 26, of Piedmont Avenue, North Charleston, was charged with murder in the March 11 shooting death of Oscar Manuel Giron-Hernandez at Marsh Grass Condominiums. Pinckney was in jail in Berkeley County on unrelated charges. Police also charged Adrian Keith Beaton, 20, of North Charleston with murder in the case.

Police said Giron-Hernandez, 33, of North Charleston, was killed and his wife wounded by gunfire when they walked into the apartment, where three men had tied up a second man.

Jose Domingo Contreras was sleeping inside the apartment at Marsh Grass when three men entered and tied him up. Contreras was released from the hospital later that day. Giron-Hernandez's wife was hospitalized for several days.

No further information about Montgomery was immediately available from police.
