Charleston police have made an arrest in an attempted break-in to a kiosk at Citadel Mall.

Jerry Jerod Washington, 28, of Taberwood Circle, Charleston was arrested Friday on Hazelwood Drive, police spokesman Charles Francis said. Washington is charged with second-degree burglary. According to court records, he is being held in the Cannon Detention Center on $10,000 bail set Saturday by Charleston County Magistrate Sheryl M. Perry.

Earlier this month, police distributed surveillance photos showing a suspect that appeared to have a glass eye. He was using an electric chain saw in an attempt to break into Gold Valley kiosk on Aug. 30 and again on Sept. 4, police said
