MOUNT PLEASANT - Police have arrested two people accused of robbing a Bowman Road convenience store with a knife on July 31.

Investigators charged Donald Travis Roeling, 23, of Bonneau and Amber Louise Bridges, 22, of St. Stephen with armed robbery. Both were arrested Tuesday, Mount Pleasant police Capt. Stan Gragg said.

Gragg said Roeling entered the Blue Water Exxon at 1325 Bowman Road with a large knife about 11:35 p.m. and demanded money from the clerk. He ran out of the store with the cash and got into a car with Bridges, who is accused of driving the getaway vehicle, Gragg said.
