A man and woman accused of breaking into a West Ashley school have been arrested.
Ace Dominic Blakenship, 25, of Ashley River Road and Courtney Faith Moody, 18, of Amber Way in Lancaster are each charged with second-degree burglary.
Blakenship was released on bail today. Moody was being held at the Charleston County jail.
The pair broke into West Ashley Middle School at 1776 William Kennerty Drive about 4:30 a.m. Sept. 30, according to the incident report. They were caught on the school's surveillance cameras.
The teachers' lounge was in disarray and several items scattered in the middle of the hall, according to the report. Nothing was reported missing from the school.
UPDATE: Prosecutors chose not to pursue the charge against Moody and dropped the case in October 2013, Charleston County court records show.
