MONCKS CORNER -- The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help in locating a person wanted for questioning in connection with several recent burglaries in the Country Club community off Old Highway 52.

"In one of the burglaries a vehicle was stolen from one of the victims," Dan Moon, public information officer for the Sheriff's Office, said in a news release issued Tuesday.

The stolen vehicle is a silver 2000 Lincoln Navigator with a S.C. license tag, FMF 907, Moon said. A credit card that was in the Navigator was used at several locations in the Charleston area before the victim reported the theft, Moon said.

A surveillance camera took a photo of a person using the card at one of the locations. He was seen leaving the transaction location in a white Ford Escape. He is described as a white male in his early to mid-20s.

Anyone with information about this person should call the Sheriff's Office at 719-4412 or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
