Last week, I wrote about the summer deal at Drayton Hall.

This week, I'm happy to tell you that after you're done exploring Drayton, you can head a little ways up S.C. Highway 61 to the Middleton Place National Historic Landmark, where the savings continue.

As its press release says, the site has "offerings for every member of the family: nature walks, kayaking, carriage rides ... the rest is history." The plantation also offers biking and horseback riding.

During June, July and August, kids 15 and under will be admitted free with a paying adult (limit three children per adult). Plus, if you buy your tickets online, you can save $5 off the regular $25 admission price for ages 16 and up. (House museum and carriage rides are extra.)
