Phone and bank records have not yielded clues in the case of a missing James Island woman, Charleston County Sheriff's Office Maj. Jim Brady said Wednesday.
Angela Trent, 47, has not been seen or heard from since she reportedly left her home at 947 Mikell Drive about 6 p.m. Sunday. The van that she used to leave home was found Tuesday a few blocks away.
A thorough search of the van and nearby areas also did not shed light on her whereabouts. No sign of a struggle was found.
Trent's family reported her missing on Monday and said she had threatened to harm herself. Zack Trent, her son, said Tuesday the family remains hopeful she will be found soon.
Brady said foul play is not suspected.
