MYRTLE BEACH -- A Myrtle Beach man has admitted killing his wife after an argument, investigators said Tuesday.
Horry County police answering a domestic disturbance call around 8:30 p.m. Monday found Marsella Lippert, 39, with severe wounds to her face and cuts on her arms.
Authorities said Lippert's husband, James Lippert, 48, was found with blood on his hands, and told officers that he had just killed his wife.
Officers found the couple's children, ages 5 and 8, hiding in a bathroom. They said the children heard screaming but didn't see the killing.
Lippert is charged with murder.
