Hollywood -- More than $10,000 worth of grass- cutting equipment was stolen from a garage behind Town Hall, according to an incident report.

Charleston County sheriff's deputies were summoned to Town Hall on S.C. Highway 162 about 2 p.m. Monday, the report said. A town employee reported that the equipment had been stolen sometime between Oct. 28 and Monday.

Deputies found no evidence of forced entry, according to the report. The garage had not been opened by employees for more than a month.

A stolen tractor was described as a 2006 Massey Ferguson GC2300 that was painted red, with a Bush Hog M600-1 finishing mower attachment, also painted red. The estimated value of the tractor is $8,350. The mower attachment was valued at $1,600. A metal trailer with a wooden bottom also was taken. The trailer was painted brown and was valued at $500.
