Columbia -- A Lexington woman was released on bail this week after signing a confession that she gave alcohol and showed pornography to her son and two other 14-year-old boys at her house.

The Lexington County Sheriff's Department has charged Susan Russell Hammond, 47, with contributing to the delinquency of a minor in the incident. She turned herself in Monday and was released the same day on a $10,000 bond, the Sheriff's Department said.

A warrant was issued for Hammond after the other boys' mothers reported the incident Aug. 19. It came to one mother's attention Aug. 13 when she noticed a sexually explicit Facebook conversation between her son and an unknown person, the Sheriff's Department said.

Her son identified the other person as Hammond and told her Hammond had shown him and two other boys pornography and given them alcohol in July, according to the incident report.

The report, largely based on statements from the mothers of the boys, states that on July 26, the boys went to Hammond's home to watch a movie. Hammond was known to them through their school's soccer program.

After watching a movie, the boys said Hammond went into her room and returned with a pornographic movie called "The Wedding," which they watched. They said Hammond also gave them shots of liquor.

The mother and her husband confronted Hammond on Aug. 14 on Hammond's front porch. According to the incident report, Hammond "walked to the bottom of the steps, put her head down and covered her face in her hands."
