Two men were stabbed while arguing on Grayson Street about midnight Tuesday.

North Charleston police have sworn out warrants charging 51-year-old Thomas Lucas with assault and battery with intent to kill.

Authorities said Lucas was drunk early Tuesday when he walked by a home on Grayson Street and yelled obscenities at a woman. A man at the home confronted Lucas.

Investigators said the men were arguing when Lucas pulled out a knife and stabbed the man, who was then able to pull the knife away and stab Lucas, according to Spencer Pryor, public information officer for North Charleston Police. Both were taken to the Medical University Hospital.
