Man’s car found on Ravenel Bridge hours before body found floating in harbor

The car belonging to a man found floating in Charleston Harbor on Sunday had been found parked on the Ravenel Bridge nearly 12 hours earlier, according to Mount Pleasant police.

Police responded to Remley’s Point Boat Landing about 1 p.m. Sunday.

The body was recovered and identified as John Iadicicco, a 50-year-old Mount Pleasant man. According to an incident report, his car was discovered abandoned on the Ravenel Bridge about 12:30 a.m. Sunday.
