A 24-year-old North Charleston man was killed Tuesday when the motorcycle he was driving skidded into a guard rail on the Highway 52 connector approach to Interstate 26, authorities said.
William Bradley died of head and chest injuries, Charleston County Deputy Coroner Judy Koelpin said. Bradley was wearing a helmet, she said.
Spencer Pryor, North Charleston police public information officer, said the motorcycle was going east on the connector about 10:50 a.m., heading for the entrance ramp to I-26 when the driver drifted from one lane to another.
Pryor said the motorcycle was being driven at a high speed and the motorcycle went into a skid and hit a guard rail. Bradley was pronounced dead at the scene.
