A 45-year-old Summerville man was killed Monday night in a single-vehicle crash, authorities said.
Duane Allen Tenney was driving a Ford Ranger south on Jedburg Road about 7:20 p.m. when it ran off the right side of the roadway and overturned, said Bill Salisbury, chief deputy coroner of Berkeley County.
Tenney was pinned in the truck, Salisbury said.
He was extricated by firefighters and transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Salisbury said.
Tenney was wearing a seat belt, Salisbury said.
The incident is being investigated by the county Coroner's Office and the S.C. Highway Patrol.
