A Ladson man has been arrested and accused of pointing a gun during a road rage incident Saturday in North Charleston.
About 5:15 p.m., a man in a white Dodge Durango cut in front of another motorist on Rivers Avenue and the other driver "flipped him off," a police report said. It said the driver of the sport-utility vehicle pulled out a handgun with a laser sight and pointed it at the other driver.
Soon afterward, police found the SUV driver at a gas station on Ashley Phosphate Road, arrested him and found his .40-caliber pistol in the center console, the report said. It said David Gadsden, 31, was charged with pointing/presenting a handgun. He made bail Sunday and was released, the jail said.
