The Mount Pleasant Senior Center, 840 Von Kolnitz Road, is open 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, and 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday. GROUP PERSONAL TRAINING SESSIONS: Personal trainer Barbara Gentle takes members through personally designed workouts. Four people are required for a group. Contact the Senior Center to register and arrange dates and times. $15 per session.
PILATES MAT: This total body-conditioning exercise method combines strength and flexibility. 1-2 p.m. Thursdays. $5 per class.
NIA: This blend of yoga, martial arts and dance is an energizing therapeutic exercise for people of most ages and abilities. Noon-1 p.m. Mondays. $5 per class.
“BRING BACK STEP” CLASS: This 30-minute class combines low-impact step aerobics, breath work and yoga stretches. 5:30-6 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. $3 per class.
BEGINNER T’AI CHI: This ancient low-impact exercise system can improve strength, flexibility and inner peace through movements and breathing exercises. 2:30-3:30 p.m. Wednesdays. $5 per class.
INTERMEDIATE T’AI CHI: Learn more advanced movements and routines. 11 a.m.-noon Mondays. $5 per class.
ACRYLIC PAINTING: Painting from still life and photo references. Beginners or amateur artists welcome. 9-10:50 a.m. June 7, 14 and 21. $5 per class.
TAP DANCE, BEGINNER: Learn the basics of tap and work your way up to simple routines. 11-11:50 a.m. Tuesdays. $5 per class.

BEGINNER LINE DANCING: Line dancing is an exercise that keeps your energy levels high. No dance experience is necessary. Appropriate footwear required. 1-2:15 p.m. Mondays. $3 per class.
LINE DANCING, LEVEL 2: This intermediate class will start with simple dances and increase in the number of steps. 11:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Wednesdays. $5 per class.
LINE DANCE STEPS: This is a “steps only” condensed version of the beginner class, teaching the basic steps of line dances. 11-11:30 a.m. Saturdays. $2 per class.
