The St. James-Santee Family Health Center, Inc., a non-profit community health center, has been awarded two grants totaling $956,254 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Funds will be used to renovate the 30-year-old McClellanville facility and to relocate one on Highmarket Street in Georgetown.

These funds will expand the center’s ability to provide high-quality care to the rural populations they serve, according to a news release from the center.
