Swinney: Tigers need Boyd to play

Clemson starting quarterback Kyle Parker may sit for backup Tajh Boyd in certain situations.

The Legare Farms Education Foundation will host the fourth annual Fall Harvest Dinner on Nov. 6 starting with a "Meet the Farmer" reception at 4 p.m. followed by dinner at 5 p.m.

Dinner will include Legare Farms' beef, pork, eggs, and fall vegetables prepared by Charleston chefs.

The foundation is a non-profit initiative whose mission is to help raise awareness and educate Lowcountry communities and schoolchildren on the agricultural history and heritage of the region.

The reception and dinner will be served under tents in the fields of the farm. Dress is casual. Tickets are $60 and may be purchased by calling 559-0788 or emailing legarefarms@bellsouth.net.
