Sept. 13: Home School Days: Incredible Insects at Palmetto Islands County Park. 10-11:30 a.m. Through activities and an insect hunt through the park, you will learn about insect classification, their adaptations to living in different environments, and why insects are beneficial to humans. There will be parallel sessions for kids ages 4-6 and 7-10. Designed for home schoolers, but open to all. Program is for children ages 4-10 and their registered and paid adult chaperons.
