Charleston Sprint Triathlon Series: 7:15 a.m. May 20 at James Island County Park. This 22nd annual run-swim-bike event is the first of a five-race series. Athletes may sign up to participate in one or all races on May 20, June 17, July 8, July 29 or the championship event on Aug. 12. Spring Fishing Kickoff Tutorial: 1 p.m. May 20 at Mount Pleasant Pier. Free event. Climbing 301: Intro to Trad Climbing: Trad climbing allows you to climb without bolts or top-accessed areas. This class will cover gear placements, anchor building, belay techniques and more.
