Nov. 9: Folly Beach Bird Walks at Lighthouse Inlet Heritage Preserve. 8:30-10:30 a.m. This walk focuses on the northern shoreline and maritime forest of Folly Beach. A registered chaperon is required for participants ages 15 and under. Age: 12 & up. Fee: Free, however pre-registration is required.
Nov. 10: Parent and Child Trips: Charleston Harbor Sea Kayak. 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Enjoy a tandem kayak excursion starting from Sunrise Park to nearby beaches with views of historical Fort Sumter.
