Early Literacy Station (all ages): Through May 31. Visit the Early Literacy Station for a fun activity based on the S.C. Day-by-Day Family Literacy Activity Calendar. The theme is “Animals.” Enter for a chance to win a S.C. Day-by-Day Calendar. Winner will be drawn May 31.

Saul Alexander Gallery Exhibit: Through May 31. Reynier Llanes was born in Cuba in 1985. His dedication to his craft has helped him master different media such as oils on canvas, watercolors, acrylics and coffee on paper. The universal themes represented in his paintings include family, passion, cultural values and the beauty in our lives.

Wheel of Fortune (ages 6-11): 3:30 p.m. May 17, 24. Spin the wheel, solve the puzzle, win a prize.

Author Talk and Book Signing with Jack Shuler: May 17 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Author Jack Shuler will discuss his book, “Blood and Bone: Truth and Reconciliation in a Southern Town,” which explores the shootings known as the Orangeburg Massacre, as well as the community’s ongoing reaction.
