Nov. 3: World Trade Center Charleston is hosting an export workshop on sales, finance and logistics solutions for businesses 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at 4500 Leeds Ave., North Charleston. Cost: $55 World Trade Center of Charleston or chamber member, $95 nonmember.
Nov. 8: The Education Foundation presents its 16th annual Business Education Summit 7-11 a.m. at Trident Technical College promoting alignment of businesses, community and civic organizations, and public schools to ensure that students are equipped with 21st-century skills they will need for success in college and careers. Panel includes business leaders and keynote from Nashville Chamber on business-education partnerships. Cost: $85, $50 educators.
Nov. 9: Charleston Young Professionals is hosting a professional development lunch 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at 4500 Leeds Ave. Event will look at different faces and methods of entrepreneurship. Cost: $15 CYP member, $25 nonmember. To register, visit www.charleston-yp.com.
Nov. 16: The Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce will host a workshop for small businesses on officing on demand 7:30-9 a.m. at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina. Cost: $15 in advance, $20 the day of for chamber members, $30 nonmembers.
