A life raft fell off a cruise ship into Charleston Harbor on Monday afternoon, a spokesman for the U.S. Coast Guard confirmed.
No one was on the raft and no injuries were reported.
The U.S. Coast Guard spokesman said staff from the ship are attempting to retrieve the life raft and a team from the Coast Guard will assess any potential pollution impacts.
The Post and Courier reported last week that RoyalCaribbean's Grandeur of the Seas would be docked in Charleston today. The ship is scheduled to make a nine-hour stop in Charleston.
