CONWAY -- Authorities say one of three men charged earlier this year in connection with a killing more than seven years ago has been released from the Horry County jail on bond.
The Sun News of Myrtle Beach reported Tuesday that 32-year-old Darren Monroe posted $125,000 bond Monday. Monroe faces several charges, including murder and first-degree burglary.
Investigators found new evidence earlier this year when they began looking at the 2001 shooting death of Tracy Jordan. Jordan was shot in the shoulder and died, while another man was wounded.
Two other men have been arrested.
Thirty-five-year-old Isaac Smith is at the New Hanover County, N.C., jail, while 29-year-old Quinte Taylor is in a federal prison in Bennettsville.
