The fifth-annual JAC Jazz Series, which begins this week and coincides with the Spoleto Festival USA, will be held at Father Figaro Hall, 493 King St., Suite 200 (between Radcliffe and Morris streets).

The series was moved from its originally announced location, the new listening room called The Mezz, above Sermet’s restaurant on King Street.

The Mezz is still undergoing renovation. The new club, run by drummer Quentin Baxter, soon will host local and visiting artists.

The jazz series runs Wednesday through June 8 and features local bandleaders, including pianist Tommy Gill, trumpeters Charlton Singleton and Cameron Harder Handel, saxophonists Mark Sterbank and Robert Lewis, vocalist Leah Suárez, and others.
