HOLLYWOOD — Annette Sausser and Kenneth Smalls were re-elected to Town Council, and challenger Herbert Townsend won a third seat in Tuesday's municipal election, according to preliminary results.

The numbers are close, however, and must be certified later this week. Townsend received 311 votes, Smalls received 302 and Sausser received 281.

Incumbent Arnold Collins received 251 votes and lost his seat. Challengers Carey Poinsette and Mary Harley received 211 and 175 votes, respectively.
