A South Carolina heritage horse will pay a visit to a meeting of a local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution at 10 a.m. Saturday.

The General Marion's Brigade Chapter is inviting the public to attend as S.C. Cotton Museum director Janson Cox brings Molly, a Carolina Marsh Tacky horse. Cox will present a program on the importance of the Carolina Marsh Tacky to the state's colonial and revolutionary history.

There also will be an observance of Patriots Day.

The meeting will be at Creekside Farm, off U.S. Highway 52 in Moncks Corner about a mile north of the Tailrace Canal. Turn onto Millies Way Road.
