Charleston police are looking for an armed man who held up a convenience store Sunday morning.
A man walked into Sammy's Corner Store at 2204 Mount Pleasant St. about 9:40 a.m., showed a handgun and demanded money, said police spokesman Charles Francis.
The man then ran out the door. No one was injured.
Police officers canvassed the area for evidence and spoke with residents. The suspect is described as a thin black man, 18 to 25 years old, 5-foot-7 and wearing a cap and a black jacket.
