The S.C. Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities is accepting applications for the 2012 summer programs and the 2012-13 school year.
The public residential high school accepts applications mostly from high school sophomores, and the deadline for applications is Jan. 6. The Greenville-based school offers academics and pre-professional training in creative writing, dance, drama, music and visual arts. Summer programs also are offered in each art area.
