A Bogard Street man told Charleston police someone broke into his pickup truck and stole 17 fishing reels and 10 fishing rods with a total value of $2,550.

According to a police report, the man left his truck parked at an apartment at 89 Bogard St. about 6 p.m. on Thursday. When he came outside about 1 p.m. Friday, the passenger-side front window of the truck had been broken out and the fishing gear was missing.
