Firefighters in North Charleston battled three home fires on Thanksgiving Day.
A mobile home in the park at 9494 Highway 78 suffered significant damage and left two people homeless. Officials said no one was injured and that the blaze remains under investigation.
Siding was damaged on another home on Warsaw Street after a resident accidentally set a fire while frying a turkey. Officials said no one was injured.
Firefighters also responded to a fire at a Rivers Avenue home after a burning pot caused minor smoke damage.
