GOOSE CREEK -- A fight over a bicycle is thought to have led to a shooting Wednesday that put one man in a hospital and landed two others in jail.
About 4:30 p.m., the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a gunshot victim at a house in the Forest Lawn subdivision, said Dan Moon, public information officer for the Sheriff's Office.
When deputies arrived at 23 Guerry Circle, they found a 30-year-old man who had been shot with a small-caliber handgun, Moon said. The victim, whose name was withheld, was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, Moon said.
Deputies were able to locate and apprehend two suspects a short time later.
Zacharia Alexander Morris, 17, and William Adam Murray, 21, both of 20 Guerry Circle, have each been charged with attempted murder, Moon said.
Both suspects are being held at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center in Moncks Corner pending bond hearings scheduled for tonight, Moon said.
