A new event planned to help raise funds for the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run will be held today on Daniel Island.

The Toss for the Torch Corn Hole Tournament to support Special Olympics will take place from noon to 6 p.m. at the Daniel Island Grill, 259 Seven Farms Drive. The event, a double-elimination tournament with live music, a dunking booth, jump castle and door prizes given out at regular intervals, raises funds for the Torch Run.

Funds raised will go directly to Special Olympics South Carolina.

Corn hole teams are being sought. The cost is $40 per team, with a limited number of T-shirts for participants.
