CLARKSBURG, W.Va.-- Three lawsuits stemming from a fatal accident at the All-Good Music Festival near Masontown last summer, in which a Mount Pleasant woman was killed, will be tried together in Clarksburg.
U.S. District Judge Irene Keeley is combining lawsuits by survivors Elizabeth Rose Doran and Yen Ton with one filed by the father of their friend, Nicole Miller. Miller was killed and the others injured when a pickup truck slid down a steep grassy slope, hit two other vehicles, and plowed into the tent where the three women from Mount Pleasant were sleeping.
The lawsuits target a dozen parties, including driver Clay Lewin of Cape Charles, Va., Maryland-based Walther Productions and the operator of Marvin's Mountaintop LLC.
Keeley has tentatively set trial for Aug. 19.
