Cape Romain Environmental Education Charter School, a new public school that will open in McClellanville in the fall, will host an informational meeting at 6:30 p.m. Thursday on the campus at 1011 Old Cemetary Road.

The school's program director for the planning year, Sally I'Anson, will make a presentation on the school's curriculum, and prospective parents are invited to ask questions.

The kindergarten through fifth-grade school is accepting applications, and those are available on the school's website,
