The third concert of a new chamber music initiative is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday at Memminger Auditorium.

The concert, presented by L'estro armonico, will feature host-pianist Charles Wadsworth and four young musicians -- soprano Courtenay Budd, violinist Tim Fain, clarinetist Jose Franch-Ballester and cellist Wendy Sutter -- playing music of Poulenc, Grieg, Schubert, Saint-Saens, Dvorak and Amy Beach.

The enterprise is the brainchild of Wadsworth, who retired three years ago, at 80, as director of chamber music for Spoleto Festival USA, and Lorenzo Muti, a Charleston resident and director of the North Carolina-based Chamber Orchestra of the Triangle.

Tickets for the concert are $30 (students are admitted free) and can be purchased at or by calling 266-7990.
