The Charleston County Coroner's Office has identified Harold Foy as the man found inside a car pulled out of the Stono River on Thursday.
Foy had been missing for more than a month.
Foy, 44, a Charleston landscaper, disappeared March 13. According to police reports, he called his fiancee around 11 p.m. and told her he was on his way home.
Divers from the Charleston Police Department and county Sheriff's Office found Foy and the car he was driving after searching the river in front of the Sol Legare Boat Landing. A Crime Stoppers tip alerted police that the car might be in the river.
Sheriff's deputies said they don't suspect foul play in Foy's death.
