Bank robbery photos released

Police are circulating security camera pictures taken during a bank holdup on Thursday. A man entered National Bank of South Carolina at 616 North Main St. in Summerville at about 2:15 p.m. and passed a note to a teller demanding money. The robber was described as white, 40 to 50 years old, 5 feet, 8 inches tall, 140 to 145 pounds and with brown hair, a mustache, a slight beard.

SUMMERVILLE -- Police are hoping security camera pictures taken during a bank holdup Thursday afternoon might help find the robber.

A man entered National Bank of South Carolina at 616 N. Main St. at about 2:15 p.m. and passed a note to a teller demanding money.

The man left the bank with an undetermined amount of cash, Summerville police said.

The robber was described as 40 to 50 years old, 5-foot-8, 140 to 145 pounds and with brown hair, a mustache and a slight beard.

He was wearing dark clothes, a baseball hat, a black pullover jacket with a white design on the left chest, blue jeans and dark colored shoes, police said.

Police said the robber carried a dark colored tablet case that zips closed.
