Bail set at $1 million for accused Folly Road shooter

Domoneik Washington is charged with one count of murder and two counts of attempted murder the March 30 shootout.

Bail was set at $1 million for the suspected triggerman in a March shootout on Folly Road.

Domoneik Washington, 24, of Seacroft Road on James Island, is charged with two counts of attempted murder and one count of murder in the incident that left one dead and two wounded. Washington appeared in Charleston County Bond Court.

No bail was set on the murder charge because only circuit court judges are allowed to set bail in such cases.

Washington was apprehended earlier this week while he was walking down a street in Danville, Va., according to a release from the U.S. Marshals Service.

The shootout happened March 30 in the lot of a Kangaroo gas station at Folly and Camp roads.
