A moped driver will be OK after being struck by a car downtown on Sunday night.
The collision happened about 7 p.m. on Meeting and John streets.
The driver of the car failed to yield the right of way and struck the moped. The moped driver was taken to the Medical University Hospital and will be OK, according to Charles Francis, spokesman for the Charleston Police Department.
Police charged the driver of the car with failure to yield the right of way, Francis said.
