LIVE TRAFFIC UPDATES — One lane of Folly Road blocked; I-26 back to normal

Police are working a second accident on Interstate 26 near the Ashley Phosphate exit this morning.

Authorities say one lane of Folly Road is blocked because of an overturned trailer at the Central Park Road intersection.

Folly Road is "completely blocked" and traffic is being re-routed following a wreck this morning.

Authorities reported the closure about 9:20 a.m. Expect delays.

Interstate 26 traffic appears to be back to normal following a couple of wrecks this morning. Traffic is still a little heavy around the Ashley Phosphate Exit.

Two early Interstate 26 wrecks have been cleared from the eastbound lanes but traffic is still backed up from the 210 mile marker to the 208 mile marker.

There are also backups on Folly Road after an overturned truck caused the closure of two lanes from Folly Beach toward Charleston. Authorities say the lanes should be open soon.

There is also a wreck in the south bound lanes of U.S. 17 in front of the post office in Mount Pleasant.

Authorities are at the scene of two wrecks in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 26.

The first wreck was reported at 6:33 a.m. just after the Ashley Phosphate Exit. Traffic is backed up past the U.S. 78 Exit at mile marker 205 and at one point was backed up all the way to the College Park Exit at the 203 mile marker.

A second wreck was reported at 7:03 a.m. at the 207 mile marker.

A reported motorcycle wreck on College Park Road at Treeland Drive ended up being a false call, authorities said.
