The Lowcountry is filled with critters.

Face it, they're out there — bald eagles, sturgeon, wild turkey, right whale, coyotes, wood stork, swallowtailed kites, mink, painted bunting, gray fox, even skanks.

This is one of the richest places in the region if not the country to find exotic and even deadly wildlife.

The list of cool critters is almost endless —there are 39 different species of shark alone.

Learn where to spot them in Saturday's print edition of The Post and Courier.
