emergency checklist

Some disasters strike without any warning and others happen with a few days advance notice.

It will bring a sense of relief if you plan ahead and have an emergency preparedness checklist ready to go.

Here are some key points:

  • Make sure you have enough supplies to last for at least three days.
  • Keep a large emergency supply kit at home and a smaller one at your workplace.
  • Include everything you will need to stay where you are and make it on your own for at least the first 72 hours after a disaster.

To help, we've included the emergency preparedness checklists from Charleston County and FEMA for download.
