NEWBERRY — South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley is taking her “open door” meetings with constituents on the road.
Haley is holding her fifth round of the 10-minute meetings Monday at the National Guard Armory in Newberry.
The “open door after 4” sessions were started by former Gov. Mark Sanford. Haley has said she wants to continue the tradition.
Haley also held a series of town hall meetings earlier this year to talk about her first 100 days in office and to unveil a report of the work legislators had accomplished. She has not yet released legislators’ scores.
Lawmakers return to Columbia on Tuesday to take up debate on district lines for the U.S. House seats.
