Authorities find body of missing Georgetown child in Black River

GEORGETOWN — Georgetown County Sheriff's Office deputies said they found the body of Collins Elizabeth "Lenny" Lusk in the Black River on the night of May 3, hours after the 5-year-old was reported missing.

Lusk was last seen playing a sandbox at a Cherokee Drive home in Georgetown near the river around 7 p.m.

No foul play is suspected by the sheriff's office at this time. No other details were released.
