Indah Thai Coffee

Where: Indah Coffee

Cost: $4

The onset of true Columbia heat means that iced coffee season has begun. If you’re looking for a change from your usual cold brew, Indah's Thai coffee is a nice alternative.

I’d had Thai coffee almost sticky-sweet enough to stand a spoon up in, so Indah Coffee’s delicate take is a surprise. It starts with the coffee shop’s nitro cold brew, infused with cinnamon, giving it a pronounced natural sweetness. To that, Indah adds sweetened condensed coconut milk — not so much that the drink is what you’d describe as milky, but just enough to moderate the intense coffee and spices. The overall effect is perfumey and intensely refreshing.
