Oysters aren’t usually on the menu at 82 Queen, but the shellfish are starring in 82 Queen’s anniversary celebration on Feb. 6.

The 33-year old restaurant is closing for dinner in order to host a fundraiser for Hospitality Heroes, an organization supporting hospitality workers and their families during medical crises and their aftermaths. The 6 p.m.-9 p.m. party, featuring complimentary oysters and hors d’oeuvres, is priced at $10. Wine, beer and cocktails will be available for purchase.

82 Queen in November replaced its executive chef, Steven Lusby, with Nick Ingram. According to online reviews, the restaurant had a fairly successful Restaurant Week under his leadership, earning praise for its she crab soup and catfish.
