A longtime Langdon's staffer is the force behind FED, an "American eclectic" restaurant in Mount Pleasant.
Located in the former Woody's BBQ at 1109 Park Blvd., FED is serving lunch and dinner every day but Sunday, when brunch runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Brunch dishes include s'mores French toast, pulled pork eggs benedict and shrimp and grits.
The standard menu also has a slightly Southern bent, although there's a stuffed chicken breast and sesame-crusted tuna alongside the fried green tomato chips and pork chop with collards.
"It's not fine dining, but a step above average," owner Nick Arbuckle, 30, says.
